Surgical Technician - CVOR

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technician with specialized expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. The ideal candidate will confidently scrub and circulate in a wide range of complex cardiovascular surgeries, including emergent cases. This role requires flexibility, excellent technical skills, and the ability to respond quickly when on-call. Key Responsibilities Scrub and circulate during all CVOR cases, including complex and emergent procedures such as CABG, TAVR, TEVAR, Impella, VAD, AVR, MVR, ECMO, aortic dissection, hemiarch, and more. Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures. Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control protocols. Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. Respond promptly to on-call assignments, reporting within 45 minutes as required. Occasionally float to general OR assignments as needed. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules with no fixed work hours. Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). Proven ability to confidently scrub and circulate all CVOR cases. Previous travel experience preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation. Ability to work flexible schedules with no set shifts. Reliable transportation and ability to report on-call within 45 minutes. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with complex cardiovascular cases and emergent surgeries. Familiarity with general OR procedures (for occasional float assignments). Certifications

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred.
