Could you be the full-time Tooling Engineer in Savli we’re looking for?

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical and production expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.

You’ll define specific tooling, oversee its manufacturing, and implement it in production, impacting our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), conduct tooling costing, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of writing functional specifications, validating tool designs, and training manufacturing teams on tool usage, but also contribute to continuous improvement actions.

We’ll look to you for

Identifying tooling needs and evaluating total costs

Writing and getting approval for functional specifications

Participating in the design and validation of tooling

Implementing tooling and performing adjustments as needed

Specifying inspection, handling, and maintenance instructions

Contributing to the Alstom Tooling network and database

Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering

Experience or understanding of manufacturing engineering and maintenance

Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA, etc.)

Familiarity with Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics

An IGTR certification is preferred.

Effective communication and a team player mindset

Logical organization and self-motivation
