We are looking for a full‑time
Maintenance Technician
position to repair and maintain residential and commercial building in Downtown Oahu. All applicants must successfully pass a background check, essential to possess a valid driver’s license along with a reliable vehicle, previous hands‑on maintenance experience, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), painting, drywall, and grounds maintenance)
Able to access a small space of 18-inch x 18-inch
Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed asnecessary.
Excellent customer service skills to interact with property managers, vendors, customers, etc.
Involves constant movement, standing, walking, bending, able to stretch during shifts
Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary.
Able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 50lbs up to 75lbs.
Walk, stand for a period of time and bend throughout the shift.
Ensure mechanical equipment and systems are working in order and fixed as necessary
Create and maintain work orders
Create and maintain purchase orders
Perform any additional maintenance related duties as required by HBMH supervisor/property management
Skills/Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Must pass background check
Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Customer service oriented
General Maintenance experience
Basic mathematics
Previous experience with creating and maintaining work orders and purchase orders
Attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude
Troubleshooting abilities
Strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and grow
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours a week)
Must be available to work 3 Saturdays / 3 months of the year ( total of 9 Saturdays annually)
Compensation: $23.00/per hour
