We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Accounting Manager role will also include cash management and risk management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Coordinate and execute the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Manage the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies Oversee accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances Utilize accounting IT system (QuickBooks) to facilitate processes and maintain records Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities, including revenue/expense and balance sheet reports Manage company assets and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of fixed assets Develop and implement robust financial systems and processes Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations Develop and monitor business performance metrics Oversee the production of monthly reports, as well as financial statements and cash flow projections for use by executive management Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company Review and approve all Form 8-K, 10-K, and 10-Q, among other filings Manage the preparation of the corporate annual report
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, including proficiency in QuickBooks Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns Strong interpersonal and communication skills Impeccable analytical and organizational skills Self-motivated and self-directed Ability to work closely with a senior management team Ability to manage and lead a team to meet departmental goals Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
