The Inventory Accounting Supervisor will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and inventory management across multiple entities. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of their financial statements while mentoring and developing a high-performing accounting team. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll as needed. Manage and review month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting. Oversee cost accounting functions, including standard cost updates, variance analysis, and margin reporting. Monitor inventory accounting, including cycle counts, adjustments, and reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data for multiple entities. Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance to provide insights into cost trends and inventory performance. Lead, train, and mentor team members - fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Assist with internal controls, audits, and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support the Controller and CFO with ad hoc analysis and special projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA a plus. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with manufacturing and cost accounting exposure. Experience managing or supervising a small team strongly preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and inventory management. Experience using larger ERP systems and advanced Excel Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Enjoys mentoring and developing others while maintaining a hands-on approach. Salary: $120K-$130K
