$55K-$60K A stable and growing company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its team in the northeast metro. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and plays a key role in processing vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal controls. Why This Role? • Join a supportive and collaborative team with strong tenure • Enjoy a mix of structured daily tasks and opportunities for process improvement • Be part of a financially stable company that values work-life balance • Help streamline AP operations and strengthen internal systems • Work with a grounded, friendly, and high-performing accounting group What You'll Do: Invoice & Payment Processing • Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation • Ensure expenses are coded properly to departments or general ledger accounts • Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer • Maintain complete and organized vendor payment records Vendor & Expense Management • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items • Review and maintain employee expense reports and corporate card activity • Assist with month-end close, including accruals and cutoffs Process Improvement & Compliance • Recommend and support improvements in AP workflows and systems • Maintain adherence to internal controls and company policies • Support audit processes by providing requested documentation and reports What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role • Proficiency with AP systems and ERP platforms • Strong Microsoft Excel and general Office Suite skills • Excellent organization, accuracy, and communication skills #INSEP2025 #INOCT2025 #ZRCFS #LI-HK1 #LI-Onsite
