Senior Accountant

Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration. • Stable company with deep roots in Kern County's agriculture industry • Collaborative team culture with opportunities for growth • Comprehensive benefits package • Salary range: $80,000-95,000 Responsibilities: • Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance • Prepare and file property tax and other regulatory reports • Partner with management to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy • Provide support to auditors and assist with annual financial audits Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems preferred • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
