Location: Augusta, GA 30904
Contract- 3+months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–1:00 PM (30 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $18.80-$21.30/HR
Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Augusta Patient Service Center in Augusta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
- Verify patient demographic information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, peers, and supervisors
- Travel between Patient Service Center and In-Office Phlebotomy sites as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required (5 years preferred)
- Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
- Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work scheduled hours without issue
- Strong data entry and customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle high patient volumes
Reliable transportation is a must. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
