JANITOR / CLEANER - Milwaukee Airport (PART-TIME ONLY 3rd Shift : 10:00pm to 6:30am)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking PART-TIME ONLY 3rd Shift (10:00pm to 6:30am) Janitor / Cleaner to join our team at the Milwaukee Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport facilities, including restrooms, waiting areas, and other public spaces.

JOB SUMMARY :

Tasks include but are not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, grooming, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing areas such as bathrooms, common areas, escalators, elevators and stairwells, furniture, windows, sidewalks, walls, and floor surfaces. The position involves assembling and using necessary equipment and supplies, including hand tools, motorized equipment, chemicals, and cleaning utensils to address specific work assignments. The janitor may also assist guests with questions or concerns and perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned by the Janitorial Operations Supervisor and Janitorial Operation Manager.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of waiting areas, including seating, floors, and trash removal.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Basic English knowledge and understanding of janitorial terms.
• Prior experience in commercial janitorial or cleaning services.
• Experience in the same field is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Capability to stand for long periods while performing tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as trash bags and cleaning equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
