What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Define and execute the overall business strategy for captive solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
  • Lead the design and implementation of pricing strategies and profitability measures for large and complex risks
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert on captive solutions and represent the company at industry events
  • Provide consultative expertise to clients, brokers, and consultants on leveraging captive models
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to influence the adoption of captive solutions and drive revenue growth

What is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales or relationship management, focusing on life insurance or employee benefits
  • Active life & health license is required
  • Proven track record in thought leadership, product development, or strategic business management
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States several times per month

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience building or managing captive insurance programs
  • Consulting experience with large and complex employer groups or national accounts
  • Additional licensing such as FLMI, CPCU, or CEBS
