AdvatechPacific is an established Aerospace & Defense Engineering firm supporting our customers with engineering, modeling, research and development, design and analysis services.Currentlywe have a Manufacturing Engineer position availablein Irvine, CA. This position requires high precision machining experience.

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Primary Qualifications include :

• A background in complex machining, particularly for gears.
• A minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to read 2D drawings and create marking fixture drawings.
• A good workingknowledge of lean manufacturing, product planning and routing.
• Musthave attention to detailand understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks.
• Other desired skills are knowledge of Catia and CAD Software, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other process improvementmethodologies.
• Knowledge of various Manufacturing Software and Tracking.
• Must have excellent report writing and problem solving skills.
• Extensive use of MS Office tools and strong written skills a must.

Education

Requires a B.S. inManufacturing, Industrial orMechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field .
