This position will preferably be onsite at our Crestview, Florida office but may be remote if the candidate has the right skills and experience. Position Overview InDyne is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst supporting enterprise security operations and security compliance programs. The role reports to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and plays a critical role in implementing day‑to‑day cybersecurity operations, continuous monitoring, risk assessments, and supporting the documentation and implementation of security controls to maintain compliance with NIST SP 800‑171 and CMMC Level 2. Key Responsibilities Support security compliance & control implementation, including maintaining NIST 800‑171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance; documenting, assessing, and implementing required security controls; participating in gap analyses and tracking remediation efforts to close compliance deficiencies; developing and updating System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and related artifacts. Perform security monitoring and incident response support including monitoring security tools and dashboards (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS) for suspicious activity, assisting in detection, triage, analysis, and escalation of security incidents following defined protocols; supporting forensic investigations and maintaining incident documentation. Conduct risk management and vulnerability assessments, including periodic risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and patch verification to identify and mitigate risks; tracking and reporting on remediation of vulnerabilities in coordination with IT and system owners. Support security operations and continuous monitoring; perform routine reviews of system and security logs to ensure continuous monitoring of systems for compliance; maintain and enforce baseline security configurations for assets in both on‑prem and cloud environments. Assist policy and procedure development; supporting the creation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, plans and procedures; ensuring documentation aligns with current compliance frameworks and business requirements. Assist training and awareness support; delivering security awareness training and phishing simulation campaigns across the organization; educating staff on proper handling of sensitive information and secure computing practices. Assist audit and assessment support; supporting internal and external cybersecurity audits, assessments, and readiness reviews; assisting with data collection, evidence gathering, and control walkthroughs during audits. Have a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5–7 years of equivalent work experience. Have knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networking, and security, including familiarity with operating systems (Windows 11) and cloud technologies and software applications. Be expected to have or obtain industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CCP, or GIAC certifications. Preferred Skills Knowledge and expertise in security technologies EDR, antivirus, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, firewalls; operating systems Windows, Linux; basic networking concepts TCP/IP, ports and protocols, VLANs, VPN; familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Office 365) and cloud security tools. Experience with scripting or command‑line tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non‑technical users. Ability to work independently and as part of an extended team in a fast‑paced environment.
