About the role
We are seeking a
Manager, Supply Chain
to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations across the company. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that materials, components, and products move efficiently and cost-effectively—from suppliers to production to customers—while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
As a key cross-functional leader in a fast-paced
solar electric vehicle (SEV)
environment, this role will oversee procurement, logistics, production planning, inventory management, and supplier development. Looking for a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who thrives in dynamic, growth-oriented settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive supply chains, including experience with custom engineering projects and Tier 1 automotive vendors. This role is critical to the success of our vehicle production program and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge, sustainable transportation solutions.
What you'll do
Oversee all supply chain functions company-wide, including procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory control.
Develop and execute a scalable supply chain strategy that supports company growth, cost targets, and production goals.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team across multiple departments.
Build and manage a reliable supplier network for EV components and materials.
Source components across multiple domains including electrical systems, HV battery systems, lighting, HVAC, powertrain, interiors, exteriors, chassis, and brake systems.
Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and performance terms to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Ensure compliance with ESG and sustainability standards throughout the supplier base.
Production & Planning
Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to align material availability with build schedules.
Implement demand planning, forecasting, and MRP tools to optimize inventory and reduce shortages.
Track and manage the completion of technical projects involving custom engineering.
Drive continuous improvement in material flow, lead times, and supply resilience.
Logistics & Distribution
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations.
Develop logistics strategies that support domestic and international operations.
Ensure cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Define and monitor KPIs for cost, quality, delivery, and inventory turns.
Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate supply risk.
Implement digital tools and data-driven decision-making across the supply chain.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of sourcing, logistics, production planning, and supply chain systems (e.g., ERP/MRP).
Demonstrated success in scaling operations in a fast-growth environment.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in
automotive, EV, or high-tech manufacturing industries .
Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus.
Team Structure
Individual contributor; collaborate with management, other teams and individuals, as necessary
Required Experience
7+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
