Astro Digital is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain & Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead procurement, materials planning, and logistics operations across spacecraft production programs. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing Astro Digital’s system-level MRP and supply chain strategy while managing a growing team of buyers, planners, and Production Control. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen, strategic sourcing experience, and hands-on leadership to establish scalable processes that enable efficient production and continuous improvement. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead the full supply chain organization, including procurement, planning, inventory, and logistics functions. Build and refine processes for MRP, supplier management, and material flow. Develop team capabilities and KPIs to support production and company growth. Procurement & Supplier Management
Oversee material demand generation and purchasing from engineering BOMs. Negotiate supplier pricing, lead times, and contractual terms. Establish long-term sourcing strategies and manage key supplier relationships. Planning & Material Readiness
Ensure alignment between material planning, production schedules, and integration timelines. Manage ERP-driven MRP operations (Odoo or similar) for accuracy and efficiency. Track and mitigate supply risks for critical hardware. Inventory & Logistics Oversight
Direct inbound/outbound material handling, kitting, and inventory control. Maintain cleanroom material compliance, traceability, and audit readiness. Oversee outbound shipping, logistics coordination, and export documentation. Continuous Improvement
Standardize and document supply chain procedures. Implement process and system improvements to enhance traceability, cost control, and scalability. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of Leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, etc.). Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status required per export control regulations. Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting satellite, aerospace, or cleanroom-based manufacturing. Technical Knowledge of Satellite and electrical systems. Demonstrated success developing sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships. Familiarity with government export control regulations (ITAR/EAR). Work Location
This position will be in-person at the Littleton, CO facility.
