Summary Join the Stanley Consultants Water Resources Market team to design and analyze large civil and structural projects such as dams, flood control structures, and earth‑retaining works for clients worldwide.
What You Will Be Doing
Technical analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents, reports, and cost estimates for structural and environmental projects.
Lead structural design work for a variety of materials (concrete, steel) and general civil projects.
Manage and mentor the structural design team, delegating tasks and ensuring project quality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
Strong knowledge of structural engineering theory, earth and water retaining structure design, and hydraulic structures.
Proficiency with structural software such as STAAD and MathCAD.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Team‑oriented with leadership experience and project management capabilities.
Self‑motivated subject‑matter expert with a record of professional presentations.
Willingness to travel and perform field work.
Preferred Qualifications
Structural emphasis on Civil Engineering (B.S.) or M.S. in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering.
Experience with MicroStation.
Knowledge of federal and state government guidelines and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers standards.
Salary $119,400 – $156,975 per year (Minnesota location)
