well-funded, late-stage global biotech
at the intersection of
AI, therapeutics, and delivery science
is seeking a
Vice President of Business Development
to lead strategic growth and partnership initiatives across the US market.
Having raised over
$360 million to date
and approaching an
IPO within the next 12–18 months , the company is pioneering the use of
artificial intelligence and quantum simulation
to design and optimize
small molecules, biologics, and nucleic acid-based therapies .
The Role Reporting directly to the
Chief Business Officer , the Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for driving growth across North America, developing strategic partnerships, managing high-value collaborations, and expanding the company’s presence with global pharma and biotech partners.
You will work across both
asset and platform partnerships , shaping the commercial strategy for a suite of AI-driven discovery and delivery platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business development activities for platform licensing, R&D collaborations, and asset out-licensing.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key pharma, biotech, and academic partners.
Drive deal sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and execution across multiple therapeutic and technology modalities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, data science, and executive teams to align commercial and scientific objectives.
Contribute to long-term corporate strategy and value creation ahead of IPO.
Candidate Profile
10–15 years
of progressive experience in business development, corporate development, or strategic partnerships within biotech or pharma.
Strong track record of
executing complex BD transactions
(asset, platform, or strategic partnerships).
Technical background
(PhD or MSc preferred) in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline — ideally with early-career R&D or scientific exposure.
Experience working across modalities such as
small molecules, biologics, RNA/mRNA, or gene therapy
is highly advantageous.
Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a
remote, global, and fast-paced environment .
