This role will focus on supporting HPV within Value and Implementation. Under the guidance of an Executive Director, within the Value and Implementation, Outcomes Research the incumbent has the following responsibilities: Responsibilities

Development of the integrated evidence strategy to support HTA/reimbursement/NITAG evaluations. Development of overall Real World evidence strategies for one or more in-line and/or developmental drugs and/or vaccines on a worldwide basis. Development and implementation of Outcomes Research (OR) and Real World evidence programs to meet the value evidence needs of payers, advisory committees, health systems, and clinicians. Work closely with Product Development, Franchise, Regional Product Directors, affiliates, Public Affairs, and Medical Education teams to ensure value evidence programs are consistent with marketing strategies. Represent OR on Value Teams, providing leadership in developing outcomes research strategies and plans for developmental compounds and obtaining cross‑divisional senior management approval. Critically assess drivers and barriers to reimbursement and market access, and identify value evidence needs to provide strategic input into clinical and market development programs. Develop integrated evidence strategy including HTA/OR strategy and generate evidence for HTA/reimbursement purposes. Develop and evaluate health programs leveraging health care system parts that enhance product value and use. Implement programs to document burden and cost of diseases, unmet medical need, patient reported outcomes (PRO), and value of drug therapy to support pricing and reimbursement. Develop value evidence deliverables (global value dossier, health economic evaluations) and adapt them for country‑specific pricing and reimbursement. Work with VT team members to develop OR plans based on regulatory, marketing, and reimbursement environments worldwide, including US market local needs. Collaborate with Research Labs, affiliates and consultants to design, validate, and report study protocols and data analyses. Evaluate outcomes research study protocols for local markets through the Investigator Study Program Committee. Support affiliates in adapting health economic evaluations and OR documents to local requirements. Communicate OR findings/value evidence across departments and to external customers. Maintain awareness of scientific developments and establish communication with key outcomes research opinion leaders. Leverage cross‑functional groups (Market Partners, Data Sciences, Insights, Pharmacoepidemiology) to execute OR plans. Build relationships with health economic and outcomes research experts worldwide. Other Activities

Provide scientific oversight and mentorship to junior team members. Present research plans and results to internal review and governance committees, external experts and agencies, and at scientific conferences. Publish independent scientific research in major journals, participate in meetings, and serve as a peer reviewer for scientific journals. Competencies and Skills

In‑depth understanding of HTA/reimbursement and market access needs in key global markets. 5+ years post PhD or 7+ years post Masters in health economics, outcomes research, market access, HTA or related field. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing epidemiological or health economic studies. Track record of scientific presentations and publications. Creative problem‑solving and excellent oral and written communication skills. Willingness to travel (up to 10% of the time). Fluent spoken and written English. Required Skills

Salary range: $187,000.00 - $294,400.00. The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, health care, retirement with 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, compassionate time, and additional sick days. Effective September 5, 2023, employees in U.S. office‑based positions work a hybrid model of three on‑site days per week, Monday‑Thursday, with Friday remote, unless business critical tasks require on‑site presence.
