*You must be a UK National or have resided in the UK for a minimum of 5 years, or hold a Dual National status, to be eligible for UK security clearance. You MUST have experience in SAP Defence and Security (D&S) Industry Solution, which is built on SAP S/4HANA, OR SAP Logistics within the Defence & Security Industry (Armed/Police Forces, Ministry/Department of Defence, etc.)*
What you’ll do To strengthen Public Services Global Practice, we have an open position for a Business Process Consultant for Defence & Security. The role focuses on delivering innovative SAP solutions to Defence & Security customers and is part of SAP’s Adoption Services Center.
Key activities for the role:
Application‑specific solution consulting: advisory, business blueprint, solution design, build and test, key user training, go‑live support, post‑go‑live support, configuration execution, development specification creation
Support on escalated projects
Feasibility studies and solution reviews
Support pre‑sales activities, showcasing SAP functionalities in specific client contexts
Internal support: creation of pre‑engineered services, internal trainings/webinars, etc.
Occasional responsibility for workstream / team lead role on a project
What you bring
7+ years of working experience as a business process consultant or solution architect
Good knowledge of SAP Defence & Security solution. Alternatively, SAP Logistic solutions (Supply Chain or Plant Maintenance) with understanding of Organization Management
Understanding of the specific business processes of a Defence & Security organization (Armed/Police Forces, Ministry/Department of Defence, etc.) – a strong plus
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language; additional languages are a plus
Highest level of flexibility, integrity and confidentiality
High ambition, autonomous, result‑driven, focused on execution and results
Ability to multi‑task and deliver highest quality work under time constraints and in complex environments
Project / product management skills
Strong team player with a mindset to work in a high‑impact team
Ability to work with colleagues at all organizational levels and across different teams, locations and cultures
Agility, proactiveness, ability to ramp‑up quickly on new solutions
Willingness to receive Security Clearance
Basic knowledge of programming is a plus
