Job Summary: U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is searching for an Inventory Control Associate team in our Tucker, GA Distribution Center. The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse. This role involves tracking, auditing, and reconciling inventory data, performing regular counts, and identifying discrepancies to ensure efficient inventory management and product availability. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts (cycle counts and full physical inventories).
Verify, track, and record all inventory movements (receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments).
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
Update inventory systems and databases accurately and in real time.
Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor stock levels and report low or excess inventory to management.
Assist in implementing and maintaining inventory control procedures and best practices.
Generate inventory reports for management review.
Ensure all items are properly labeled, organized, and stored according to company standards.
Support audits and compliance checks as required.
Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
1-3 years of experience in inventory control.
Proficient with inventory and/or warehouse management systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math and data entry skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods if required.
