Overview Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Kanban systems to ensure material availability for production operations

Hire, support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce, promoting a culture of inclusion, innovation and performance

Oversee daily execution of material replenishment operations with a focus on safety and quality

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels through Kanban system management

Implement and improve pull systems for production material flow

Gather, trend and report Kanban metrics/KPIs to promote improvement initiatives

Drive efficiency through process improvements and root cause analysis

Manage team goals and critical metrics to ensure business success

Work cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams

Conduct employee reviews, hiring, and disciplinary functions

Lead continuous improvement initiatives for material management systems

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience or equivalent experience

2+ years of direct management experience

Experience with Kanban systems and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of ERP experience, especially in SAP

Experience with lean manufacturing principles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective coaching and mentoring skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $150,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
