Christiana Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurocritical Care team! This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous critical care experience. The selected candidate will work 80 hours every 2 weeks, a combination of 12‑hour shifts days and nights, to include weekends and holidays rotation.
Our state‑of‑the‑art, eighteen bed Neurocritical Care Intensive Care unit and six bed step‑down unit including 2 rooms with epilepsy monitoring capability are located on our Newark campus. The ideal Advanced Practice Clinician candidate will be comfortable working independently in collaboration with the neurocritical intensivist performing direct medical management utilizing approved protocols, procedures and expert consultation for our adult neurocritical care patients. APCs on this team are involved in quality, safety and experience improvement initiatives.

Position Qualifications
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner must be a graduate of an accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification.
Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification by the NCCPA.
Licensed or license‑eligible for the state of DE.
Must have or be eligible to obtain prescriptive authority.
Previous critical care experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Annual Compensation Range $122,903.00 - $154,147.00 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
