Responsibilities in the unit include admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a high acuity, fast‑paced environment with a high level of autonomy. It is preferred that the candidate have at least 1 year of critical care experience, but new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided. Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required Preferred minimum of 1‑year critical care experience; new graduates considered License or license eligible for the State of Delaware Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for the State of Delaware Federal DEA ACLS certification Annual Compensation Range $122,903.00 - $154,147.00 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
