Under the supervision of Business Administrator, the position is expected to perform professional procurement, accounting, and related human resource duties. Manage daily financial activities for assigned cost centers. Extract and interpret information from various sources to ensure proper FDM account setup and compliance with organizational structures and fiscal policies. Duties include procurement, purchase order creation, invoicing, and establishing new accounts for multiple entities. Serve as the credit card liaison for all GME cardholders, ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines.**20% – Payroll and Expense Reports**
Ensure financial accuracy and integrity for assigned centers, including payroll and non-payroll transactions within the Workday/OurDay Enterprise Reporting Program. Responsibilities include verifying transactions, analyzing and resolving variances, approving expenditures, auditing expense reimbursements, and providing final departmental expense approvals. Conduct variance research, analysis, and resolution.**20% – Budget Development and Forecasting**
Assist in developing annual and project budgets for GME in Charleston, Orangeburg, and other facilities under GME oversight. Responsibilities include forecasting expenses and revenues, monitoring trends, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and anticipate variances.**15% – Employment Processing**
Responsible for initiating and processing all employment activities for GME residents and fellows, including new hires, onboarding, and promotions. Responsibilities include verifying employment data, updating and monitoring HR requirements, and preparing electronic uploads for processing.**10% – Human Resources Support**Support the Business Administrator with HR functions for GME, including sponsoring contingent workers, maintaining supervisory organizations for residents and fellows, and monitoring leave of absence records.**10% – Contract Management**
Manage contract processes for the GME Business and Finance team. Ensure compliance with all requirements and updates within the electronic contract management system.**5% – Other Duties**
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including special projects and departmental initiatives.**Preferred Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**A bachelor’s degree and **four years** professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance, and/or human resources.
