Hourly Range: $19.00 to $21.00
Duties and Responsibilities
The Testing Coordinator reports to the Education and Training Director and is a salaried, exempt position.
The Testing Coordinator administers the test of adult basic education (TABE) to students to determine their initial, interim, and final reading and math performance achievement levels and learning gains.
The Testing Coordinator determines the results of TABE test as satisfactory or unsatisfactory based on Campus and Department of Labor procedures and criteria.
Compiles and distributes a list of each student’s test results to appropriate department heads.
Maintains all required records and test results on students.
Submits weekly activity reports to the Education and Training Director.
Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
One year of work-related experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
Additional Requirements Knowledge of test administration and evaluation with some instructional techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. In addition, an individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.
About our Program Job Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 60 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment.
