Physician Assistant- Thoracic Surgery- Part Time

Nuvance Health Department of Thoracic Surgery seeks a board‑certified part‑time thoracic surgical physician assistant for Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. The role focuses primarily on hospital duties with limited office exposure.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

NCCPA certified.

Strong surgical and patient management experience.

At least one year of surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Surgical first assisting.

Daily rounds, consults, admissions, and discharges.

Coordinate with vascular surgery as needed.
