What You'll Be Doing: Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
Perform thorough legal research and analysis to build strong case support.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
Stay current with legal developments, case law, and procedural changes.
Efficiently manage caseloads, ensuring all deadlines and court requirements are met.
Contribute to the formulation and execution of sound legal strategies.
Represent the firm in legal associations, bar committees, and professional events.
What You Bring to the Table:
A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
An active license to practice law in Virginia.
3+ years of litigation experience, specifically within family law, divorce, or trust and estates.
Exceptional oral advocacy and legal writing skills that command attention in court and in complex legal drafting.
Superior organizational abilities to effortlessly juggle multiple deadlines and priorities inherent in a busy practice.
An empathetic, solution-oriented approach coupled with an unwavering commitment to client success during often emotionally charged situations.
