Solidus is hiring a Senior Linux Automation System Administrator. This is an on-site role based in Aurora, CO.
Day In The Life
Building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities using industry standard automation tools Work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes, and implement solutions to system problems
Required Qualifications & Experience
US Citizen with an active TS/SCI CI Poly Undergo a comprehensive background investigation Must be able to support occasional after-hours maintenance and on-call support and must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations. Occasional travel may be required for installation support Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR a master’s degree and minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience An active cyber security certification, qualified for DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) based systems Using and developing automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, as well as scripting, primarily Bash and Python
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Deployment and administration of systems, storage, and networking in virtualized environments using VMware vCenter Experience managing network devices Experience administering Windows-based systems Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency
Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary
Full benefits: $134,000 to $155,000 annually
Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $167,000 annually
