Description
Providing perfusion support to hospitals across the US, Innovative Perfusion Concepts, Inc., is looking to grow our perfusion team! Our perfusionists play a critical role in the operating room, providing expertise in the operation of the heart-lung machine and other perfusion equipment. The perfusionist will be under the supervision of the chief perfusionist and will work closely with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to the advancement of cardiac care. At IPC, we not only take pride in offering a great work-life balance to our team members, but we also make it essential to provide our staff with the necessary tools they need to be successful!
We aim to expand our team to five full-time employees, covering three hospitals and four CT Surgeons.
Requirements and Qualifications
The perfusionist must be willing to take part in a five-perfusionist team schedule and work flexible hours to meet the hospital's needs. American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion certified or Board Eligible
Graduate of an accredited Clinical Perfusion Program
2 + years of experience as a perfusionist is preferred
New graduates are welcome to apply
BLS certification must be maintained
Demonstrates great communication and teamwork skills necessary to interact with fellow team members and healthcare professionals
30-minute call response time
Job Duties and Responsibilities

IABP
Call Coverage - Shared call

IPC covers 70% of the health, vision, and dental insurance costs for full-time employees' dependents. Eligible dependents may be added to the employee's benefits selections, with 30% of the premium costs deducted from the employee's payroll. Full-time employees are covered under the IPC term life, accidental death and dismemberment, and short and long-term disability plans. IPC pays premiums on behalf of the employee. Full-time employees may elect to participate in the Employer's Guideline 401(k) retirement plan. Participants may make pre-tax or Roth contributions to a retirement account.
