$144,393.60 to $223,787.20 Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Nurse Director in the Medical Services Division is responsible for overseeing quality assurance, quality improvement, nursing standards, and clinical outcomes for assigned programs. The nurse director directs daily clinical and care programs across multiple locations, working closely with operational and clinical leadership to develop strategies that ensure quality, cost-effective care for customer-owners. The nurse director is accountable for operational, financial, quality, and continuous improvement activities across various disciplines and specialties, including compliance with regulatory agencies. This position has two levels, designed to provide increasing responsibility and independence. Progression depends on demonstrated ability to handle more complex responsibilities. Qualifications: SCF programs primarily serve Alaska Native people affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCFs service area. Employees should understand the cultures and needs of this population to support SCFs vision of a healthy Native community and its mission of wellness through health services: Masters degree in nursing or equivalent education and experience. Licensed in Alaska as a Registered Nurse. At least three years of theory-based nursing experience in a multidisciplinary environment. One year of progressive leadership experience (e.g., leading a team, project, or initiative). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, PALS, or others relevant to the scope of practice may be required.

Additional Qualifications for Nurse Director II: Proven proficiency as a Nurse Director I at SCF.
