Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure excellence across all areas of the business. This role requires someone with deep, hands‑on experience in precast concrete and tilt wall systems who has performed the work in the field and successfully supervised teams. We are not seeking a career supervisor but a leader who understands the demands of the job because they have done it themselves.
The ideal candidate must be able to connect with front‑line teams, see the big picture, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities. This role requires decisive leadership, the ability to manage across departments, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development. Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager will drive daily operations, support cross‑functional initiatives, and promote a high‑performance culture centered on accountability and results.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Provide quality leadership and guidance to all field crews and department heads
Manage and oversee daily operations across field activities to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals
Monitor and track individual employee hours; review, validate, and sign off on submitted timekeeping forms to ensure accuracy and compliance
Conduct regular field inspections to verify that work meets Warrior Precast's internal Quality Assurance standards and document findings
Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal, personnel, and safety regulations and audits
Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of field services to meet or exceed customer expectations
Ensure that all truck drivers, crane operators, field installation technicians, and other field personnel are properly trained and equipped with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to perform their jobs safely and effectively
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of field operations, employee certifications, safety protocols, and training records to ensure readiness for internal or external audits
Professionally represent Warrior Precast in all external business interactions, job sites, and community engagements
Promote collaboration and cohesion between field and office teams to ensure a unified and productive work environment
Implement and maintain a strategy for internal training and promotion of qualified field personnel
Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual
Provide the CEO and SWA with timely reports on field efficiency, safety performance, and overall operational effectiveness
Ensure all required personnel certifications are current, including those required by SWA and relevant regulatory bodies
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external audiences
Strong computer proficiency and the ability to adapt to new technology tools
Deep understanding of residential building and concrete‑related construction practices
Proven ability to effectively lead, manage, and motivate a diverse field team
Ability to train and educate inspectors, clients, and third parties on product standards and practices
Strong relationship‑building skills to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty
Ability to stay calm and professional in high‑pressure or emergency situations
Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as necessary to achieve company goals
Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight, training, or client engagement
Must maintain a professional appearance, including business‑appropriate attire and personal hygiene
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Commitment to personal and professional development through continued education
Must meet bonding eligibility requirements due to the financial and operational responsibilities of the role
Knowledge of residential building codes and construction standards
Must be able to obtain required installation certification within 90 days of hire
Familiarity with precast concrete manufacturing techniques and field operations
Experience with tilt wall systems
Understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DER safety regulations
Competence in standard business and accounting procedures
Experience implementing or managing quality control programs
Familiarity with SWA field installation standards and procedures
Knowledge of effective sales, marketing, and customer retention strategies
Possess and maintain a valid non‑CDL driver’s license
Associate’s degree in engineering, related field or equivalent experience
The ideal candidate should possess
Previous field experience in precast concrete installation, construction, or manufacturing
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related field or equivalent experience
Military experience may be accepted in place of secondary education or civilian certifications

Travel and Extended Hours: Willingness to travel and work extended hours as necessary to meet business needs and project deadlines
