A law firm seeks an experienced mid-level employment law attorney with over five years of experience to join its growing practice in San Jose, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling clients and litigating wage and hour cases, class actions, and employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters in both state and federal courts.
Duties
Counsel clients on employment law matters. Litigate wage and hour, class action, and discrimination cases. Respond to administrative charges and manage pre-litigation disputes. Prepare responsive pleadings and engage in motion practice. Develop policies and conduct compliance training. Requirements
5+ years of experience in employment law. Familiarity with California state and federal courts. Experience with FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour compliance. Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California. Skills
Exceptional communication and analytical skills. Proven track record of strong performance and measurable results. Hybrid work arrangement considered for well-qualified candidates.
