Seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Infrastructure Consultant

Responsibilities:
Define job requirements for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and implementing project and/or interrelated programs activities
Responsibilities range from providing support for small to medium projects to development of Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for small to medium projects
Facilitate needs assessment and the development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through integration of various PM tools
Determine, monitor, and review all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risks
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project
Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues
Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
Manage changes in operational plan
Develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plan
Undertake status review meetings among project team members and clients
Determine client requirements and translate requirements into operational plans
Identify and assemble the appropriate blend of resources to meet project needs and requirements; manages sub-contractors
Create communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged key stakeholders
Requirements:
Technical Expertise in IT Infrastructure
Deep understanding of networking, servers, storage, cloud platforms such as AWS, virtualization, and cybersecurity
Ability to translate technical requirements into project deliverables and timelines
Ability to meet with the technical team and create a detailed project task list, in addition to using this information to create a weekly project status report
Strong grasp of risk management and vulnerability remediation of both Critical & High vendor related vulnerabilities
Ability to review and manage EOL (End of Life) and LDOS (Last Day of Support) for vendor related inventory
Excellent communication skills to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and executives
Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively & timely manner
Willing to be coachable and learn the client's IT environment
Transferrable skills that can be leveraged in their day-to-day role & responsibility
