Base pay range

The Opportunity The Senior Accounting Manager will be a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing and executing all accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This position is ideal for a technically strong accountant with leadership ability who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, driving process improvements, and working cross-functionally in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP Manage the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Prepare and review monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages Partner with operations, sales, and HR teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Oversee AP/AR functions, AP processing, expense reporting, payroll processing and internal controls Work with external tax/accounting consultants to support compliance, audits, and filings Support inventory and cost accounting processes in collaboration with logistics and finance teams Implement and refine accounting policies, procedures, and documentation Evaluate and improve accounting systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP, Excel automation) Play a key role in financial planning and supporting strategic decisions alongside the VP of Finance Assist any ad-hoc projects and reports as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-track preferred) 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public/private mix Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Prior experience in a startup, SaaS, or manufacturing/technology environment preferred Strong Excel skills; experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP is a plus Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments Hands-on, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Sales tax and ecommerce experience is a plus Experience with Stripe or similar payment platforms is a plus Seniority level
