We are seeking a team of development program professionals to manage and lead Honeywell Military Fixed Wing Engine development programs within the Military Turbofans Line of Business. You will report directly to the Engines Growth Leader and indirectly to the Military Turbofan General Manager. The ideal candidate will execute complex development programs, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality objectives are met, demonstrating mastery of program management and understanding of multiple workstreams. You will oversee global development initiatives across multiple locations, coordinating technology development and production, defining and implementing program plans, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Your role will be vital in shaping propulsion products for both manned and unmanned systems, contributing to successful product launches. Additionally, you will foster capable, agile, cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement program plans and business requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
Define and implement the program-level Management Operating System (MOS).
Tailor Honeywell's IPDS processes and Phase Gate rigor to suit unmanned/attritable applications.
Utilize project management tools and processes, including SOW, WBS, BOE, scope/requirements management, scheduling, and cost management.
Manage scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality, demonstrating expertise in scheduling, resource loading, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
Handle financials, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder communication effectively.
Coordinate with various functions like product management, engineering, supply chain, and customer support to meet requirements.
Support technical performance, schedule, and cost requirements for application programs with Customer Business Teams and GBE.
Facilitate forecasting and capacity planning related to delivery needs.
Maintain communication channels for timely awareness of program progress and issues.
Present program details and status to leadership and stakeholders.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to U.S. export control laws, candidates must be U.S. persons, including U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or those with protected status under asylum or refugee laws.
Must Have
8+ years of relevant experience in a technical or business field.
Valued Skills and Experience
Proven experience in product or program management, especially leading NPI initiatives.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Experience with U.S. Air Force and other military fixed-wing customers.
Knowledge of aerospace industry, engines, and power systems.
Degree in engineering or business.
Knowledge of requirements management, planning, estimation, and resource needs.
Cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Track record of driving innovation and strategic growth.
Proactive, strategic thinking, and change leadership.
Effective judgment and communication skills.
Ability to manage complex concepts within program systems.
PMP certification, understanding of Agile & SAFe, MS Project, and JIRA experience.
