Overview Must have Cerner and application management experience NAH reserves the right to make hiring decisions based on applicants' state of residence if outside the state of Arizona. NAH currently hires for remote positions in the following states: Alabama Arizona Florida Georgia Idaho Indiana Kansas Michigan North Carolina Ohio Oklahoma Pennsylvania South Carolina Tennessee Texas Virginia The Senior Clinical System Analyst defines system objectives, requirements, scope, and impact based on clinical operations needs. Develops or modifies clinical IT solutions (Oracle Health Cerner Millennium) to address healthcare challenges. Acts as a liaison among vendors, physicians, nursing, and informatics teams to optimize patient care documentation and quality. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in Cerner solutions including Interactive View, I&O, Acute Case Management, PowerOrders, MPages, and Dynamic Documentation. Knowledge of Cerner's Clinically Driven Revenue Cycle and relevant patient care standards is required. The role requires independent work across all phases of system analysis and development, with proactive problem-solving and leadership skills. Responsibilities Technological Development 5+ years experience in system updates, modifications, and evaluations in production and non-production environments. Knowledge of healthcare operations and processes for implementing system changes. Ability to diagnose system or hardware issues and implement solutions. 7+ years experience supporting applications, including change management and documentation. Experience troubleshooting database and application software in healthcare. Experience with Incident and Change Management processes aligned with ITIL standards. Communications Respond to technical requests following incident management guidelines. Utilize data to support decision-making. Provide status updates to stakeholders and promote cross-team collaboration. Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLA compliance. Operations Build partnerships with stakeholders and support system upgrades and implementations. Participate in projects and post-go-live support. Maintain understanding of hospital operations to support workflows. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/software issues independently. Lead projects and manage scope, resources, and execution. Compliance/Safety Report safety incidents timely and attend safety training. Comply with regulations and maintain necessary certifications. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Admin, or related field, or 7 years experience. Master's Degree preferred. Certification & Licensures Cerner Fundamentals required within 6 months. Professional certifications (2 preferred), including ITIL v3 or higher. Experience 7+ years Healthcare IT Analyst experience. 7+ years in system implementation, upgrade, and maintenance. Experience leading small projects and working with EMR/ERP systems.
