Overview Position is Hybrid. Must be based in Northern Arizona as position requires periodic travel to our Guardian Air Bases located in Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Kingman, Polacca, Show Low, Tuba City, and Winslow for application support. Working under the direction of the Manager, and/or Lead, the Systems Analyst role within IT provides operational support, change management, and ongoing maintenance for IT Applications. Provides quality support for assigned applications and performs analysis and troubleshooting. Portrays competency for operational, application and administration duties required to support NAH's environment in a highly available manner. Provides direct support for the IT applications and supports the effective and efficient use of computing resources and facilitate client workflows. May participate in project initiatives, planning activities, and collaborate with other Analysts. Responsibilities Technological Development : 3+ years experience in mitigating issues by updating, modifying, configuring and evaluating production and non-production systems. Knowledge of Healthcare Business operations, departments, and processes enabling proficient ability to implement Business application and server changes across the Healthcare system. Ability to perform hardware device or system analysis to diagnose issues or identify sources of performance degradation. Ability to create and implement effective, appropriate solutions independently. 3+ years experience with application support, including drafting, reviewing, and approving changes to applications and supporting documentation. Experience using various systems and tools to support and troubleshoot database and application software systems in a healthcare environment. 3+ years ability to provide resolution using Incident Management and Change Management processes, aligned with ITIL Guidelines. Knowledge of Healthcare operations, departments, and processes to implement application and server changes. Responsible for supporting functional specifications for application development projects, implementing, configuring, and maintaining applications, and resolving application issues. Identifies and participates in continued education within scope of responsibility annually. Communications Respond to requests for technical assistance following NAH incident and request management guidelines. Utilize data effectively to promote data-driven decision making. Provide quality status updates to stakeholders via communication tools and service management tools. Engage in communication with staff and leadership to promote cross-team collaboration and mentorship. Manage vendor relationships, including accountability to SLAs and project scope. Operations Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and operational owners while supporting, upgrading, and implementing solutions. Participate in projects, including tasks and go-live activities, and provide support documentation post-project. Maintain understanding of hospital system operations to support workflows and solutions effectively. Demonstrate ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues independently and escalate when necessary. Lead small projects and functional requests, including scoping, scheduling, and execution. Compliance/Safety Report safety incidents timely, attend safety training, and monitor safety in the work environment. Stay current with and comply with relevant regulations and policies. Ensure certifications/licenses are current if required. Complete mandatory training within designated timeframes. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or 5 years of relevant experience. Certification and Licensure: Cerner Fundamentals (required within 6 months), Professional Certifications (preferred), ITIL v3 or higher Foundation (preferred). Experience: At least 3 years Healthcare IT Analyst experience, including system implementations, upgrades, maintenance, process improvement, project planning, and healthcare applications like EMR or ERP.
