Poste et missions The Energy Transition & Natural Resources team in Houston focuses on Corporates, Financial Sponsors, and US Subsidiaries of Multinational Companies. The team aims to build a diversified portfolio across the Energy Transition value chain. The VIE will support senior team members by preparing marketing materials, coordinating origination efforts, executing financing solutions, and assisting with portfolio management, KYC, and compliance. Responsibilities include sector and client knowledge development, creating impactful marketing content, conducting business and credit risk analyses, and building relationships within the bank. Deal origination support: Assist in preparing pitchbooks, marketing materials, and industry reviews; Maintain the origination pipeline for consistent prospect engagement; Run profitability metrics on transactions. Transaction execution: Participate in executing financing transactions by preparing credit applications, financial models, and coordinating legal reviews; Draft memos for senior management; Learn internal policies, credit workflows, and compliance procedures. Portfolio management: Conduct timely portfolio reviews; Lead credit line renewals and counterparty rating updates; Ensure counterparties remain in good standing. The VIE will contribute to developing the Energy Transition coverage in the Americas, collaborating with bankers, sales teams, and product specialists to increase business through M&A, corporate banking, and other products.

Profil et compétences requises Master’s degree in Finance or related field. Minimum 6 months internship in a bank or financial institution with exposure to corporate finance, debt, capital markets, or M&A. Interest in energy and natural resources is a plus. Strong finance and credit analysis skills. Fluent in English; French is a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Client-oriented with relationship-building abilities. Curious, strategic, and entrepreneurial mindset. Proficient in analyzing data for insights. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with S&P Capital IQ, Merger Market. Able to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments. This position is open only to candidates eligible for the Business France V.I.E program: French or European citizens, aged 18-28, from a country other than the host country, and graduates.
