The Position We are looking for a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement progressive rehabilitation programs for patients in their homes. This position is also responsible for:
Administering occupational therapy treatment.
Provides patient, family, and caregiver education and training as appropriate.
Performs patient care duties and treatments based on specific needs.
Requirements
Associate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program from AOTA or AOTE or Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a bachelor's or master's degree with certification in occupational therapy.
Current medical/health screening including 2 Step TB clearance.
Valid State of Hawaii license to practice as a COTA or license eligibility letter prior to the first day of employment.
Current Basic Life Support CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) certification through the American Heart Association.
