We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our collaborative and high-impact legal team. This role provides essential support across employment, litigation, regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, intellectual property, and corporate governance. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, business stakeholders, and outside counsel to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient handling of legal matters. What you’ll do

Employment Law Support

Assist with various employment-related issues, including hiring, compensation and benefits, termination, discipline, performance management, wage and hour compliance, workers’ compensation, OSHA, and leave administration Help prepare summaries and memoranda based on legal research findings to support the legal team’s advice Organize and maintain legal files and documentation related to employment law matters Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating company policies, employee handbooks, and employment agreements under attorney supervision

Litigation Assistance

Aid in all phases of litigation, including discovery, document collection, organization, and review for employment-related disputes, commercial litigation, and other legal claims Assist in preparing legal documents such as subpoenas, pleadings, motions, and correspondence for attorney review Support the management of internal investigations and responses to regulatory proceedings and inquiries by organizing evidence and documentation

Corporate Governance

Assist with corporate filings, board resolutions, and entity maintenance Maintain corporate records and minute books Support transactions, financings, and other corporate projects

Intellectual Property

Assist the IP team and outside counsel in ensuring that inventors provide the necessary information before filing patent applications, sign all patent-related documents (assignments, patent office declarations, etc.), and support scheduling of inventor meetings and brainstorming sessions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate and facilitate communication with People, Finance, and other business teams on legal matters, ensuring efficient legal support Manage calendars for various legal projects and proceedings

What you need

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, with exposure to employment law and/or litigation Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) Familiarity with multiple practice areas (or interest to learn) Familiarity with e-billing and contract management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly Preferred Qualifications

Experience with government contracts and related regulatory frameworks Familiarity with HR functions and processes Experience with contract administration, contract management systems (particularly Ironclad), and related SOX-compliant cross-functional contracting processes Intellectual curiosity, practical business judgment, and problem-solving skills Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications. We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $110,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
