Associate – FIDO/Professional Liability Coverage
We are seeking a highly motivated attorney with 3–5 years of experience in insurance coverage. The role involves representing international and domestic insurers on all matters related to liability policies, including directors and officers, employment practices, professional liability, commercial general liability, and commercial auto liability.
Responsibilities
Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and position letters, and provide coverage advice to clients.
Conduct rigorous legal research, analyze findings, and draft memoranda.
Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, supporting briefs, and legal correspondence regarding insurance coverage.
Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
Attend arbitrations, hearings, and mediations as needed.
Take a proactive role in managing matters, deadlines, and communication with clients.
Qualifications
Excellent academic credentials.
Admitted to practice in California. Additional bar admissions are a plus.
Experience working on complex insurance coverage matters. Litigation experience is a plus.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time‑sensitive matters.
Effective problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Salary The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $190,000.
