A leading international law firm is seeking a highly motivated attorney with 2-4 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation to join its growing team in Los Angeles. The role involves representing domestic and international insurers in complex matters across a wide range of liability policies, including fidelity, directors and officers, employment, professional liability, property, excess, and commercial general liability.

Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Analyze insurance policies, rights, and obligations; draft detailed coverage opinions and provide strategic advice to clients.

Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and prepare comprehensive memoranda.

Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and related legal correspondence.

Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties in connection with active matters.

Attend and participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Take a proactive role in managing matters, meeting deadlines, and maintaining strong client communication.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.

Admitted to the California Bar (additional admissions a plus).

2-4 years of experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation.

Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Highly organized with excellent time management and problem‑solving abilities.

Able to handle multiple projects and deadlines with professionalism and attention to detail.
