Registered Nurse, Nursing Unit – 4 East, FT, 07A-7:30P, $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (Specialty/Non-Procedural)

Shift:
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Salary & Bonus:
Competitive hourly rate plus up to $15,000 sign‑on bonus.
Description The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a licensed professional able to demonstrate proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The RN delivers patient‑central family‑oriented care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing and promoting evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety, and service.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Utilize evidence‑based guidelines to deliver high‑quality, safe care to patients and families.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Nursing (or Bachelors in Nursing).
Registered Nurse (RN) license.
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
ONS/ONCC – Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
BLS – Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications
RNs hired before 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), or 7/1/2018 (Fishermen’s) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non‑leadership RN role.
RNs hired after the dates above with an Associate’s degree have five years from hire date to complete a BSN degree.
RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
As per department standard, any of the following may be required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, or ONS‑Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card.
Minimum Required Experience 7 months minimum as a hospital RN in an acute care setting (1 year preferred).
