Overview Location:
Piedmont Eastside Surgical Services Schedule:
4 x 8‑hour shifts, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (some flexibility) with weekend call once per month
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
Assist in ICU, PACU, and surgical services, including advanced procedures and robotic surgeries.
Qualifications
Graduate of a nursing program.
Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN) or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience in a hospital setting preferred; PRN positions may require one year of experience.
Advanced certification in a specialty field is an advantage.
Highly preferred: PACU or ICU experience.
