Help create a brighter, stronger future for the children we serve at Shriners Children’s Southern California (SCSC). We are a family‑centered, pediatric subspecialty ambulatory surgical center located in Pasadena, providing complex care for children with orthopedic conditions.
The Central Service Technician decontaminates, cleans, assembles, requisitions, stores, and sterilizes supplies, instrument sets, and trays according to policy and procedure while using aseptic technique. Works closely with OR personnel and is responsible for the OR case carts and maintaining the OR/CS supply room and supporting other hospital departments with their sterilization needs.
This position is full time, non‑exempt, and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $24.95 - $35.23 per hour. Compensation is determined by experience and department equity.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of the principles of asepsis, infection control, and standard precautions
Demonstrates basic knowledge and principles of sterilization
Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory and supplies
Serves as liaison between the OR and CS, providing supplies, instruments and case carts

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
1+ year of hospital experience
