Accounts Payable Specialist — Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and project-related expenses. You'll work closely with project managers, procurement, and the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations across job sites and back-office teams.
Responsibilities
Full-cycle accounts payable processing for multiple construction projects Code, enter, and verify vendor invoices against POs, contracts, and project budgets Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations Track subcontractor compliance (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers, retention) Handle AIA payment applications and job cost allocations Maintain vendor files and support month-end AP close processes Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues Requirements
3+ years of recent AP experience Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien releases, and retention tracking All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
