Billing, International Insurance and Refund Research: receive enrollment forms, verify payment, enroll international students in approved insurance, prepare expense vouchers Research and investigates student accounts in Banner to determine balance sources Place holds on student accounts and issue notices; escalate to Fiscal Services for collections after 60 days Handle returned checks and chargebacks Process reconciliation/bank mobile reversals; serve as FRCC contact for BankMobile refunds; maintain related spreadsheets and coordinate with Financial Aid on refunds Manage miscellaneous AR processes: identify fraudulent accounts, back up for credit card refunds, generate reports on students without aid who may be dropped for non-payment, create journal entries, rate table data entry Customer service and cash handling: assist students, faculty, and staff; resolve account issues and disputes; provide receipts and schedules; collaborate with other departments Investigate account balances and remove holds when appropriate Qualifications

Three (3) years of technical accounting experience; strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cognos, Banner, Cashnet/Transact, BankMobile, FACTS Management/Nelnet; 10-key proficiency Substitution: Three years of college coursework with eighteen (18) accounting credits can substitute for experience (transcripts required).
