Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join an International M&E Contractor, specialising in Infrastructure Projects in the Rail, Highways, Water & Energy sectors.
You will be based on a new Road Tunnel Project near Plymouth.
Supporting the Project Manager your remit is to ensure M&E & Comms Project Packages are delivered as per the project plan. The role will require you to manage specialist contractors and directly employed engineering teams.
Successful candidates will have worked in a similar role managing the delivery of packages of work within the infrastructure (Rail, Highways, Utilities, Water, Industrial) environment.
They will be able to demonstrate outstanding client management and team management experience combined with strong commercial acumen.
The candidate will have a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services qualification and will have experience of:
Scheduling M&E works
Preparing RAMS
Undertaking resource and material planning
Working with client representatives
Updating project programs
Recording variations to contract
Managing site based teams
Worked in the Highways, Rail, Utilities, Dockyard or Industrial environments
Package The package available is a basic up to £65k, travel expenses (to locations outside of your contracted location), car allowance, Perkbox (giving you 24/7 access to perks, benefits, discounts and wellbeing tools), 3× Life Assurance, BUPA Private Medical, Pension (4% ER and 5% EE), 25 DH + BH.
