A K-12 school in Adams, MA is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This position plays a critical role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students within a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise to decision-making Assist in the development of intervention strategies to promote positive student behavior and academic success Maintain accurate records and documentation aligned with school policies and state regulations Qualifications
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Strong assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Location:
