Hours and Pay Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday during regular business hours.
Pay Rate:
$36.51–$42.15 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
About the Opportunity As a Test Engineer, you'll use your technical expertise to design and execute testing procedures that ensure world‑class performance standards are met across all systems and components. You'll work in a collaborative, innovation‑focused environment where your analytical skills and creative problem‑solving will directly influence vehicle design and functionality.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute detailed test plans and procedures for component and system validation.
Apply engineering principles and analytical tools to assess part and system feasibility.
Create test specifications, schedules, and data settings to ensure comprehensive evaluations.
Prepare, set up, and operate test equipment for moderate to complex engineering tests.
Document, summarize, and interpret test results to identify trends, predict performance, and recommend design improvements.
Conduct software testing, calibration, and microcontroller I/O programming.
Utilize INCA, CANalyzer, and CANoe tools to support testing accuracy and efficiency.
Perform data analysis to propose design enhancements and corrective actions.
Communicate findings through professional reports and technical presentations.
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure product reliability, compliance, and innovation goals are achieved.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) OR 6 years of related experience instead of a degree.
5+ years of hands‑on test engineering experience in component or system testing.
Strong background in C, C#, C++, and Python programming.
Experience with microcontroller programming, control logic, and calibration testing.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to interpret data and propose engineering solutions.
Highly detail‑oriented, adaptable, and motivated by continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements This position may require moderate physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, or lifting equipment up to 25 lbs. Occasional driving may be required for testing operations.
