Area Sales Manager-Cleveland Ohio

This role is located in Cleveland, Toledo, Pittsburgh. You will develop and execute strategic relationships with potential customers across the vended and OPL (On‑Premise Laundry) segments, including laundromats, multi‑store owners, hotels, nursing homes, fire stations, and new investors.
Base pay range $65,000.00/yr – $75,000.00/yr
What we are looking for
Deep knowledge of both OPL and vended business models with a consultative sales approach.
Responsibility for the entire sales process—from new opportunity identification to finalizing installations and customer training.
Ability to expand sales opportunities and reach within the assigned territories.
Responsibilities
Manage existing customer relationships within the territory, focusing on growth in sales and market share.
Manage open sales orders for shipment to your customer base.
Build and maintain a pipeline funnel of deals for LaundryLux.
Execute in‑market activities, including investor events and cold calling.
Participate in sales calls, conduct meetings, and educate inventors and store owners to support the business.
Prospect, manage and close new business opportunities within the territory.
Catalog laundromats and monitor key competitors, collecting and analyzing data to improve position.
Build customer relationships with prospective customers and articulate ROI‑based solutions.
Qualifications
Ability to travel within territory and to the corporate office as necessary.
Experience in new business development, direct sales, and strategic planning.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer‑centric strategic thinking.
Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to navigate ambiguity to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and willingness to learn other software.
Education & Experience
5+ years of sales experience.
Previous experience in the commercial laundry space preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Travel Required Yes.
